Leadership — Paul Herrmann
EnMr. Herrmann is a retired engineering professional with expertise in supply chain design, distribution facilities planning, and in warehousing and manufacturing operations. He was employed in the private sector where he held positions of an engineering manager at a wholly owned subsidiary of a S&P500 corporation, a general manager at a small industrial service company, and a project manager at a mid-sized consulting engineering firm. He also co-founded a children’s book publishing company, and provided project-based services to small and medium-sized businesses as an independent consultant. Mr. Hermann’s current interests include the U.S. domestic and foreign policy issues, economic analysis of government regulations, capital investment justification methodologies, and political history of Central Europe in the twentieth century.
A native of Prague, Mr. Herrmann studied mechanical engineering at a technical high school, and production planning at the Prague School of Economics where he earned his MSc degree in industrial engineering and operations management. He also holds an MBA degree from the Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
